"AMC 2017-Montevideo"
International Conference on the small bodies of the solar system.
Wake produced by a meteor in its atmospheric passage.
The first stamp is shown in the image ceded by NASA, from the dwarf planet of Ceres, obtained by NASA's Dawn space probe in 2015. The false colors highlight a varied surface composition, which highlights a bright spot.
In the central seal, we can see the image of Comet 67/Churyumov-Gerasimenko obtained by ESA's Rosetta space probe in 2015. It highlights the irregular shape of the comet and the emissions of gas and dust from its surface.
The third seal is made up of the image of the dwarf planet Pluto, obtained by NASA's New Horizons spacecraft probe, in its close passage on July 14, 2015.
The geological variety of the surface is highlighted.
